PRELUDE is the speed-focused carbon wheelset in the RAYDN range. Its 50 mm front and 60 mm rear rims combine aerodynamics, low weight and responsive handling for fast road riding, group rides and racing.
A prelude sets the stage for what comes next. Holding the pace, responding to an acceleration or approaching the final sprint, PRELUDE puts the balance of speed and control at the centre of the ride.

The SRS RAYDN Aero configuration suits racers seeking greater stiffness and a more immediate response. It is particularly recommended for riders weighing 70 kg or more who prefer a firmer ride.

RAYDN combines Toray T800/T1000 carbon rims, drive.ceramics hubs and TPI hybrid ceramic bearings across a range of rim depths. From mountain climbs and everyday training to fast racing, each configuration offers a different balance for the way you ride.
Carbon rims with a hooked design
Hooked rims support compatible tubeless setups as well as clincher tyres with inner tubes. Rim width, depth and tyre choice work together to shape handling and ride feel. See each model’s specifications for its individual configuration.
drive.ceramics hubs
CNC-machined 7075 aluminium hubs use TPI hybrid ceramic bearings, combining silicon nitride ceramic balls with steel races for smooth rotation and everyday use.

The standard ALPINA configuration prioritises comfort and an enjoyable, balanced ride. It suits long days, everyday training and riders who want a responsive wheelset without choosing the firmest possible setup.
SRS RAYDN Aero — The race-focused choice
The SRS RAYDN Aero spoke configuration places greater emphasis on aerodynamics and stiffness, delivering a firmer, more immediate response. We particularly recommend it for riders weighing 70 kg or more who want a stiffer, more reactive bike for racing.
The 70 kg recommendation is a guide, not a minimum rider weight. Each wheelset’s maximum system weight still applies. Spoke choices apply to models offering these configurations, not to solid disc wheels.
